Sunrise: 6:59am Sunset: 4:54pm
This 2 day in the field photography workshop will begin before sunrise both days and officially end at 6:30pm each day. For those who just can’t get enough, we may stay out in the city later into the night exploring the streets of San Francisco.
Day One: The workshop will begin in the Marin Headlands of San Francisco Bay and will migrate across the Golden Gate Bridge as the morning progresses. We will then move on to the San Francisco waterfront and areas of downtown San Francisco before breaking for lunch. Proceeding lunch we will make our way back through the city and head for Baker Beach to photograph the beach, the bay and the Golden Gate bridge during the evening hours & sunset. We will then move to higher ground for some great night photography in the city!
Day Two: The 2nd day of the workshop will again begin before sunrise. The literary for day two is still being developed but will include areas around the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and various other locations still to be named. I will be in San Francisco in May and plan to finalize more locations at that time. As always, locations can change at the last moment due to unforeseen events and/or the quality of the light we will be chasing. Please stay tuned for a more extensive itinerary coming soon!
Please contact me directly to discuss your specific travel plans and any questions that you have surrounding the workshop, the areas we will be photographing & my suggestions for lodging. As with all of my workshops, an additional customized extension to the workshop can be arranged for you and your party, if scheduled in advance.
Upon registering for this workshop you will be sent a link to a pre-workshop questionnaire and will be provided preliminary information about the workshop including everything you will need to know, need to bring and much more!
